The Role: Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer at Noble Med, you will play a pivotal role in conducting efficient maintenance on both company-owned and customer-owned medical equipment, primarily situated at customer sites. Your responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the seamless functionality of medical equipment through operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair services.

Responsibilities in This Role

  • Perform cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair across various medical devices.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and computer data entry for comprehensive documentation, billing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage and collaborate with clinical staff to impart knowledge on equipment features and functionality.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • An associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology. Equivalent qualifications such as certified military training or a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) will be considered.
  • Fundamental computer skills, including an understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
  • Possession of a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record per Noble Med policies.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally based on business needs.
  • Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks involving bending, stooping, climbing, and extended periods of standing and walking.
